Monschau, in the North Eifel, is a romantic half timbered village with historic old town, offering its visitors many options. In the town itself you can visit the Red House, the Felsenkeller brewery museum and the Glass Studio. If you want to save your feet for beautiful walks through the fen landscape, use the Monschau Municipal Train. You will reach many of the town sights without a car.
The Bishopric city of Aachen, the Eifel National Park and the many surrounding villages in the impressive landscape are worth more than one visit.
The summer alpine slide, the mini golf course (both in Rohren) and the Rail Biking (In Kalterherbeg) are favourites with children.
